The Park
This recreation program is designed to provide before school activities for
children 4-12 years of age. Activities
will include simple crafts, games, and special occasion breakfast mornings.
Transportation to school is available, but limited, so pleas sign up early.
The program is held Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.
No program on holidays.

After School at the Park
Children enjoy a fun, safe, creative, and educational environment in our
after school program. After School
At the Park includes arts and crafts, indoor games, outdoor activities, homework
time, and some special field trips. We
also provide fun and nutritious snacks daily that your child gets to help
prepare! The program is held Monday
through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.).
Program is not held on holidays. This
program is held during regular school days.

Need a wonderful, safe, fun place for your children on non-instructional
school days? Fulton –El Camino is
now offering a program for those days you don’t know what to do with the kids.
School Is Out is offered from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on these San Juan
non-instructional school days:

PRE-SCHOOL
Give your child a jump on education with our recreational
preschool program. These popular
classes give valuable lessons in health and safety, as well as introducing
numbers, letters, shapes, and colors. Children
participate in games, music arts and crafts, drama, and field trips. All
activities are designed to enhance your child’s socialization skills and make
future transitions in education easier and more enjoyable.
Our program requires parent participation, usually once or twice a month.
(An extra $20 fee will be charged, each month, for those wishing not to
participate in the classroom) Children
must be toilet trained. Proof of
immunizations is required. Holidays
are not made up. There is NO
pre-school on San Juan non-school days.

TALC
(Teen Action Leadership
Committee) If
you are a teen between 13 and 17 years of age, you are welcome to
join our award-winning active group. The teens participate in a
variety of outdoor adventure activities.

YOUTH SPORTS CAMP
JOIN US DURING SPRING BREAK
Children will be provided with the opportunity to play DISC GOLF and
KICKBALL games for three (3) days during spring break. Monday
is "FREE" and if your child wants to participate Tuesday and
Wednesday, there will be a fee.

BRIDGES AFTER SCHOOL
PROGRAM
The Fulton-El Camino
Recreation & Park District is a Grant partner with the San Juan
Unified School District in offering recreation programming after
school. This free academic intervention and pro-social enrichment
program is designed for kids K - 12th grade. There are four
components of the program: academic, support, enrichment/disguised
learning, pro-social skills/recreation, and parent support and
empowerment.
The park district currently has over 40 employees working at the
following Elementary, Middle School and High School sites: Cottage,
Dyer Kelly, Encina (ASSETs), Howe, Jonas Salk, and Thomas Edison
with over 600 children being exposed to the program on a daily
basis.
