Sacramento Veterans Day Parade – November 11, 2017
City of Sacramento Neighborhood Services Division is proud to present the 6th Annual Veterans Day Parade on Friday, November 11, 2016. Join us as we celebrate and honor the men and women who have served our country and those who continue to serve. The parade takes place along one of Sacramento’s most scenic locations, Capitol Mall, on the west side is the Tower Bridge and on the east side is our state capitol. Free Admission at the California Automobile Museum – November 11, 2017
The California Automobile Museum will offer FREE admission to all active duty and retired military members and their immediate family members on Veterans Day. Plus, guests can experience the current “Live Free: California Motorcycle Culture” exhibit on display that features a wide variety of motorcycles by makers that range from Harley-Davidson to Honda. Free Excursion Train Rides & Admission for Veterans at the Railroad Museum – November 11, 2017
To honor their service and celebrate the patriotic holiday, the California State Railroad Museum & Foundation are proud to offer veterans and active military personnel with FREE excursion train rides on the Sacramento Southern Railroad at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. All train ride tickets are first-come, first-served and note first class service is not available that day. Free Admission for Veterans at the Sacramento History Museum – November 11, 2017

Located in the heart of Old Sacramento State Historic Park, the Sacramento History Museum is proud to offer FREE admission for military veterans on Veterans Day. Guests are encouraged to check out the timely Place & Replace exhibit that illustrates how Sacramento transformed its derelict West End downtown in the 1950s and 1960s to create today’s world-famous historic district. Military Family Day at the Sacramento Zoo – November 11, 2017

In appreciation for our troops, all military personnel, veterans and their families receive a 50 percent discount on Sacramento Zoo admission on Veterans Day with a valid military identification.
